GPS check-in without the 'big brother' problem
Location check-in is about proving the site was visited, not tracking people. Here's how to introduce it so engineers see it as protection, not surveillance.
The first question engineers ask about GPS check-in is 'are you tracking me?'. The honest answer should be no, and the design of the tool should make that answer true.
EngiFlow records location at two moments: check-in and check-out. It does not run in the background, does not record a route, and shows the engineer exactly what was captured and how accurate it was.
Framed that way, check-in protects the engineer. Disputed call-outs, 'you were never here' conversations and timesheet arguments end with a timestamp and coordinates the engineer captured themselves.
Roll it out with the policy written down: what's captured, when, who sees it, and what it's used for. Then let the first disputed invoice make the case for you.
